Know-how, adaptability and innovation make our products appreciated in the European marketplace
The winning formula, allowing Tecnopool to operate in industrially mature markets, combines flexibility in adapting technologies to different needs and a high level of specialization with the proper know-how.
Marco Mier, Tecnopool’s Salesman for Central & Northern Europe and Israel hereby presents the characteristics, that can allow a leading company in the Food Industry to position itself in a distinctive way in its reference markets and to create value over time.
"I’m the Sales Manager responsible for German speaking countries, Scandinavia, France and Israel. For us, these are considered mature markets, characterized by strong competition as well as similar production and technological requirements. In these markets, innovation plays a crucial role and Tecnopool constantly invests in Research and Development initiatives. This allows us to continuously improve technological aspects of our products and to anticipate market demand as much as possible. Reliability and flexibility of our technology represent qualities that customers can clearly recognize and represent the baseline for a constructive dialogue in these Countries. If a Company is knowledgeable about the market and its needs, it can adequately respond to any Customer, meeting its demand, while building trust and confidence".
Companies that supply equipment and systems for the Food Sector cannot deal without a good amount of experience and precision, even when it comes to commercial relationships. These aspects, if well perceived by Customers, are enablers for establishing and maintaining of a longstanding constructive relationship between the Customer and Supplier.
Marco Mier says – "Throughout my experience I’ve learned that for many Customers, being able to get to know people directly and giving them the chance to see our equipment in operation, represents an important step towards consolidating their perception of the Supplier. Consequently, this improves trust and provides confidence in its service. To meet this peculiar need, we have launched our innovative Test Room, set-up at our Headquarters facility, where Customers can test our technology and appreciate the performance of our systems ".
While digitalization offers several opportunities to meet virtually and exchange information, the physical presence at international events and expositions remains crucial. Tecnopool's work and constant investment in trade shows throughout past decades has consolidated our company reputation and we are continuing to build success on it.
“It's not just a matter of visibility. Tecnopool – according to Marco Mier – boasts excellent longstanding relationship with its experienced employees. Our professionals can meet and greet the same people, fair after fair, during each edition. This clearly represents the solidity and determination of our Company better than any brochure: if our employees decide to remain loyal for so many years, it means that the Company supports them with a friendly and healthy working environment. These factors are taken into great consideration by Customers in my reference markets."
Once the first contact has been established, the relationship with a Customer must be enriched and developed. Tecnopool considers to be essential aspects such as: customer satisfaction, the advantages provided by product performance, reduced maintenance requirements, a service friendly equipment and Equipment reliability with limited wear.
An important aspect that provides considerable benefits to a Company in the Food Industry is the ability to delivery highly customized solutions. The Food Processing Industry is a very diversified one, ranging from bakery to frozen food, from fresh products to ready meals and it includes some more niche products as well. Clearly, within a such multidimensional landscape, the ability to rely on versatile technological solutions and the know-how gained in all food segments, constitute an important competitive advantage.
Tecnopool operates in very diverse contexts and has developed its offer to be adjustable to any Customer request, delivering a various set of solutions: automation services for small industries, industrialization projects dedicated to growing artisan companies, as well as modernization of large industrial plants for established international food production corporations. Tecnopool can respond to both - type and size - variability dimensions, with the flexible layouts and highly customizable systems.
Marco Mier explains that “The range of systems that we have delivered over years is astonishing due to their diversity: bread and bakery, fresh vegetables and fruits, pasteurization of meat and dairy product. I have witnessed the design process of a prune pasteurizer delivered to one of the largest European dried fruit group, based in France, producing 4 tons per hour, 24 hours a day, with 2 spirals and 1.5 km long conveyor belt. We have created meat processing plants in which meatballs are pasteurized and then cooled down to be fried and other production plants to pasteurize sealed trays of spreadable meat, with the spiral conveyor belt running under pouring water at 80°C and then travelling into a cold shower. We have designed a plant in Finland that cooks and pasteurizes packaged soups and with a 90 minute steam treatment at 95°C, products are then loaded on trays, cooked and already cooled to fridge temperature. Being able to deliver equipment that has an operating range from -40°C to 110°C, or even up to 300°C, allows us to respond to anyone and in particular to Customers working on bakery processes. Our systems are so versatile that in some cases, and these are now almost anecdotes, our technologies have been implemented for wood curing or drying systems for veterinary tablets. "
The enabling process solutions, that Tecnopool is developing, are allowing the Company to directly support Customers for any Food Processing requirements. Just think about the advantages provided by a spiral design that condenses long thermal processes, in a small space, or about the flexibility of a spiral that can be designed with both top and bottom return paths, without the need for elevating or lowering devices at the end of the furnace.
“Of course - concludes the Salesman - many Customers rely on support from specialized consultants to facilitate the negotiation and definition of large projects. Therefore, we believe that, on top of a great deal of flexibility, we need to keep focus on equipment specific knowledge: being analytical and highly professional with respect to Customer requests is a key advantage and it fosters a successful negotiation process. Longstanding, mature and technically performing markets are looking for such kind of specialization and being able to deploy it in a wide range of applications is certainly the feature that has created most value to us over the years.
